Leeann is a digital health leader with 20+ years in service design, delivery, and growth; she co-founded Elemental (Social Prescribing software) and helped take it from early traction to wide adoption across NHS, local authority and not for profit sectors.

Meet our founder
Leeann Monk‑Özgül
Leeann is a leading digital social entrepreneur from Derry City, Northern Ireland, recognised as one of the UK’s most influential women in tech. She is known for award‑winning work in health innovation and tech for good.
In 2013, she co‑founded Elemental Software (now Access Elemental), a pioneering social prescribing platform adopted across the UK, Ireland, and Australia. The company was acquired in 2021.
In early 2025, Leeann founded Hard Yards to support health tech ventures with strategy, scaling and impact delivery.
